Zine is our singing bird of the French Riviera, a singer songwriter and the imaginary Riviera character based on the concept of "Palhassina" (pronounced Paillassina, female clown - because women also have the right to have some fun in life). Now she returns with a new show, in a burlesque and theatrical style,

fresh and joyful,

light and deep at the same time

adaptations of standards and classics, such as:

Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Gwen Stefani, The Eagles, Queen, Manu Chao, Paolo Conte, The Beatles, Barbara, Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel, Renaud Séchan, Jacques Dutronc ...

In a poetic and ornate Niçoise language, imaginative and accessible!

The typical themes, researched by René-Pierre Anfosso, nicknamed "Scienca"

occurring in humanist texts and popular songs, concerning love, friendship, fate ...

This show pays tribute to places or important figures in local Niçoise history as Jeanne Augier of Hotel Negresco, friend of artists, or Francis Gag, the man of the theatre, as well as Catherine Segurana, Nice heroine, among others.

You will be surprised to discover their finds!

Zine's show binds the individual and the universal, the local and the global and takes you on a journey of the senses that will certainly bewilder you about things, which seemed close and familiar.

It's full of humor and emotion, it combines both tradition and modernity, in the natural evolution of the role of troubadour.

Zine created this performance to show that the language of Nice has a richness of its own to describe the world, and it has a philosophy, that there is a poetry and a state of mind fairly "nissart": it is sort of cultural "renaissance", very well-timed.
